At the Peace House Foundation, we believe that real change happens when people come together. "My experience with the peace house foundation was really good. I was warmly welcomed and they were very happy with my arrival. This was different then another experience i had somewhere else. In total I did six weeks of volunteering as internship for my study. They let me do a lot of things, I teached classes, helped the kids with homework, played a lot of games. It felt amazing to give them the attention and love they needed.

"I have volunteered for two weeks at the daycare. I really wanted to know how the childcare in a different country with a different culture was like. This was my main reason to come to Tanzania, and at the daycare i defenitly learned and saw exacly what I was looking for.
The staff is really sweet and caring and open to all the questions of the volunteers. They teach the children a lot of important school subjects and you can really see that the children are happy."
